Happiness is that elusive thing we all desire. We spend a lot of time and energy looking for it – in a job, in a partner, in a new house, a new neighborhood, a new group of friends. But then, after a few weeks of bliss, our happiness fades. And we search again.
It often remains out of reach.
Why is it so difficult? What are we missing? I spent a lot of time and energy soul-searching to understand what happiness means. It became a practice rather than a destination.
I found some clarity during a particularly difficult time at my job. (As Oprah calls it, the “aha” moment.)
I’m thrilled to share I’ve written about this important subject for Thought Catalog. You can check it out here.
XO,
Kelly
