When I first started reading blogs, they seemed a little self-indulgent to me. I mean, who cares what one person thinks? Well, the more I read, the more I was entertained and inspired. But I felt like a voyeur. After all, some thoughts should remain private. Before blogs existed, there were just journals. We readers were missing out, unless we stole our neighbor’s diary.
But now, I think I get it. It’s all about instant gratification. We can post our thoughts for anyone to see, and get feedback immediately (well, if anyone is reading). And considering the amount of pondering I do in my own head, I might as well toss it out into the blogosphere and see what sticks.

I love it. I feel the same way, gratified, slightly pervy for looking into someone else’s window and watching their lives for a while and yet, unified in the commonness of humanity with a shared thought. keep the sharing Kelly!
