If you are sick of meeting your Tinder and OkCupid matches at the local bar, and you can’t stand the thought of yet another cup of coffee with yet another total stranger you are trying to impress, or at least hook up with – maybe it’s time to try something else and see if it perks up your social life.
Summer offers a lot of opportunities what with the nice weather and all. And let me just say that holidays (like 4th of July…fireworks!!), contrary to popular opinion, are a great time to see who’s out there. Many more single people will be looking around, trust me. The long weekend just kind of lends itself to that.
It’s important to match your date’s clothing, of course…
For those of you living in the southern hemisphere – since it was pointed out to me that I don’t care about anybody but those living above the equator – I’m sorry if this list doesn’t help you. But if it’s winter where you are, you have choices, too. Don’t pretend you don’t. Try some indoor activities – say something retro like roller skating. Or indoor rock climbing. Or wine tasting. Jeez, the possibilities are still endless, okay? You don’t have to resign yourself to coffee until summer rolls around.
